The SkillUp Foundation

Our Vision
The SkillUp Foundation's goal is to empower 1,000,000 underprivileged students across Southeast Asia with essential digital skills in AI, STEM, and sustainability by 2028, creating direct pathways to internships and employment through its innovative 3-in-1 platform.
Already impacting over 220,000 learners via partnerships with Deloitte, AWS, IBM, and more, the foundation bridges education gaps, fostering equitable access to job-ready opportunities and transforming lives in the region.
We give students:
-
Access to digital courses from partners like Deloitte, AWS, and IBM
-
We do Skills assessments for students
-
We provide mentorship and career advice*
-
We match them via our platform with jobs and internships at leading companies
Meet our Ambassador
NASA Astronaut Charles Gemar
Former NASA astronaut Charles "Sam" Gemar, a three-time Space Shuttle veteran, serves as the SkillUp Foundation ambassador, inspiring underprivileged students across Southeast Asia with STEM and digital skills for employment pathways.
His events include Space Day 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, a university talk at Srinakharinwirot, school visit in Singapore, and Cubesat Challenge in Malaysia.
While outreach spans Thailand extensively, similar initiatives in Taiwan align with regional goals.
